Moving? That’s awesome. Moving can be exciting; whether it’s to another state, across the country, or just another house down the block. You’re going to be meeting new people; even if it’s just neighbors. You’re going to be seeing new places. Moving can also become very stressful though. Let PODS make it easier for you. You can take your time packing to make sure the quality meets your needs and then you can just relax while someone else drives your stuff; even if it’s just to storage. Don’t take the excitement out of moving; enjoy yourself and your new life.

How do you PODS move?

With the patented hydraulic lift system that the PODS delivery trucks are equipped with, you can rest easy knowing that your stuff is going to be shifted less due to the design. Wherever you’re going, your PODS will follow; nice and safely. Our truck drivers are also very skilled at getting your PODS home safely.

Will I have time to load and unload?

Take your time with the PODS container. Since you get to enjoy packing and unpacking at the comfort of your home, there are no deadlines that you need to rush to meet. Make sure that you take the time to pack your things to the quality that wish; after all, you’re taking a lot of the stress out of moving! Isn’t it nice to know that you can take your time instead of rushing through?

Are weekends okay for pickups and delivery?

First of all, check out your local ordinances. You don’t want to get into trouble. After all, some places have different ordinances on when you can have things picked up or dropped off. Secondly, PODS knows that sometimes weekends are your freest day. That’s why all PODS locations operate six days a week and some operate seven.

How much clearance should I make room for?

There will need to be a 12 foot wide by 15 foot high clearance on the property that is clear of steep inclines, low branches, and of wires. If you’re in doubt, make the clearance a little wider and a little higher. Better to be safe than sorry!

Being there at delivery: yes or no?

No. It’s not necessary to be there. However, we do recommend it. After all, you need to be able to tell us where to drop the POD off; also you’re responsible for making sure that clearance requirements are met. We deliver and pick up after 7am local time.
